“Enjoy it, it goes by so fast”. Who hasn’t heard this phrase as a parent? And who can really say it isn’t true?
When our daughter was born, she was delivered with a high-speed train. In the blink of an eye, she no longer wanted her favorite rattle, started walking, asserted her preferences at mealtimes, loved new songs, new books, with more and more affirmation. The activities that we were able to repeat 100 times a day (hello parents at home) and that were coming out of our eyes were sent to oblivion 3 months later. When our daughter was 12 months old, we were unable to describe exactly what her daily routine was like when she was 6 months old.
Memories blur, the rhythm is intense. The desire to freeze these moments, these details, so as never to forget, so as to be able to share them together when she grows up and tell her who she was and her story, gave birth to Pastine.
Pastine
Pastina is a pasta broth well known to Italians. Whether it’s sunny or cold, happy or unhappy, my grandmother used to make us pastina, an absolute comfort thanks to all these ingredients, put together. That’s where the name Pastine came from in my head: little things count, little things comfort, little things make up our history.
Pastine’s aim is to capture and anchor the moments that are truly important and that we always want to remember. A Pastine poster aims to recreate a world – your world and your child’s world. What makes him or her a unique, complex human being.
